Spectra Industries Limited, Lagos, has donated a truckload of Hyfiba Meals, one of its food products to the Lagos State Government for distribution to the needy, to cushion the effect of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

The Executive Director of the company, Mrs. Remi Kuteyi, while presenting the products to the Commissioner of Agriculture, Gbolahan Lawal, said the gesture was part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), considering the efforts the state had made so far to assist the vulnerable people in the state.

She said: “The state government has been helping the vulnerable people during the lockdown and we felt that as a company, operating in Lagos State, we should be part of the efforts.” Each bag of the products contains 12 packs. Hyfiba Meals is a highly nutritious product made from Sorghum and Soyabean. It can be prepared like Amala or Tuwo as ‘swallow’.

Receiving the products on behalf of the state, Lawal enjoined other companies to emulate the spirit of imparting the society at this critical time. Guardian
